Man is the first boundary in that he consists of a physical reality (the
body) and a virtual reality (the mind), and so of to aspects, one material
and the other immaterial.
We have interpreted space as sensorial and emotional, thereby considering
human interaction as an element of the project.
In the face of any interface, we are involved subjectively in various
ways which in behavioural terms can be divided into three areas:

AVOIDANCE |
(for example: the Arc de Triomphe has transcended time and become a monument
because it is extrapolated from the contemporaneousness in which it is situated.
However, we benefit for the simple reason that it exists, whereas in order
to benefit from the interface of a dwelling we must enter it). |

CROSSING |
(for example: in the Spanish Steps of Rome there is an interface of a very
long time and we can cross it). |
 |
EXISTENCE |
(for example: in the AT&T Building of New York we are attracted to the
monumentality but we can stay on the brink, we can observe and experience
two opposites at the same time). |
In the paradigms of virtual reality we have:

IDEAS |
(from something that does not exist to something which is "materialised",
in other words the process that gives birth) |
 |
PERCEPTION |
(this is unconscious perception which ranges from what is unknown to what
is known) |
 |
EMOTION |
(this is what we feel inside and which then becomes externalised through
contact with any object; this passage is an emotion) |
It is from these paradigms and from everything stated so far that our
objective derives:
LIVE IN THE INTERFACE
and so find a way of not being either before or after the interface,
in the Entre-Deux. |
